Catalent’s innovation and new product development teams. Prior to this appointment, Christine served as Vice President of Catalent’s global softgel operations with responsibility for 11 softgel manufacturing and development sites and 3500 employees across five continents. Christine joined Catalent in October of 2009 in a global quality role. In February of 2010 she was appointed General Manager for Catalent’s Woodstock, IL sterile technologies facility, where she successfully led the site back into solid regulatory compliance and built a sustainable leadership organization. Following Catalent’s acquisition of Aptuit’s clinical supply business in 2011, she was named Vice President and General Manager of the development and analytical business unit with operations in Kansas City, Mo., Raleigh (RTP), NC and Swindon, UK. Christine began her career as a microbiologist for Smith and Nephew Solopak.
In 1995 she joined Amersham Health (acquired by GE Healthcare in 2004) where she served in a series of progressive leadership roles. In 2000, she was named the Director of QC and Materials Management, subsequently expanding her responsibilities to include supply chain, EHS, logistics, customer service, and validation. In 2008 she was named Global Quality Operations Director with responsibilities in Germany, Netherlands, the UK and US. Christine holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Lenoir-Rhyne College.
