Biography

Dr. Cecilio Álvarez Toledano completed his bachelor’s studies at the School of Chemical Sciences of the University of Puebla. He received his MSc. degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and obtained a Third Cycle Doctorate and a Physical Sciences Doctor (State Doctorate) from Pierre et Marie Curie University, Paris, France. now Dr. Cecilio Álvarez Toledano is working as a Researcher in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, in National Autonomous University of Mexico, Mexico. he honored in 2010 Award University USLP, 2009 National University Award, Research in Exact Sciences, 2005 Andres Manuel del Rio National Chemistry Award in research, Member of the National Research System Level III.

Research Intrest

Dr. Cecilio Álvarez Toledano focused on Organometallic chemistry with metals of the groups 6, 8 and 10, Organic synthesis directed towards the preparation of lactones with pharmacological activity, Organic synthesis employing synergetic effects of microwave energy, as well as infrared and ultrasound with a bentonitic earth.
