Biography

A retired police officer from the Israeli Police. Served as Forensic Scientist in the Division of Identification and Forensic Science. His last job was the R&D officer of the chemistry section in the Israeli police. Developed the first field kit in the world to identify explosive in the field. Received an award from the Minister of Public Security for homeland security inventions. Published more than forty articles in his field. Internationally renowned, as one of the few in the world to develop forensic tests that are based on color changes caused by chemical reactions. Responsible for developing practices and products in forensic science that are used by dozens of countries around the world. Baruch holds a M.Sc. in organic chemistry from the Hebrew University.
