Biography

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), completed in 2004. He completed a master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, completed in 2006. In 2007, he joined the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation's PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology In 2011, with a Ph.D. in sandwiching at Georgia State University. She is currently an Adjunct Researcher at the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Research and works in the area of ​​Cardiovascular Diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension and infarction, as well as Metabolic Syndrome. It also works in the area of ​​mechanism of action of metformin in the AGE-RAGE pathway.
