Degree: Graduate in Biological Sciences. University of Valencia (Spain). 1986-1991 Ph.D program: Doctor in Biology. Faculty of Medicine. Physiology Division. Research Intrest

Research Fields: Sensory transduction, focusing on mechanotransduction and nociception. Role of ionic channels in the modulation of neuronal excitability. Calcium signalling in excitable and non-excitable cells.
