Biography

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences / Medical Modality from the Rio de Janeiro State University (1991), a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1995), a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (1999) PhD from the University of Southern Denmark (2010). She is currently Researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute, Head of the Laboratory of Toxinology, member of the Platforms Technical Chamber of the Oswaldo Cruz Institute and of the National Institute of Science and Technology in Toxins (INCTTox) and Research Producer in CNPq - Level 2 . He is a permanent lecturer and member of the Post-Graduation Committee of the Cellular and Molecular Biology Program (IOC / Fiocruz - CAPES 7 concept) and a collaborating professor of the Postgraduate programs in Parasitary Biology (IOC / Fiocruz - CAPES 7 concept). He also works as a permanent professor of the Graduate Program in Biochemistry (IQ / UFRJ - CAPES 6 concept). Has experience in the field of Biochemistry, with emphasis on Protein Chemistry, Proteomics, Peptide Mass Spectrometry and Protein and Toxinology.
