Agnes Fejes is an Ecotoxicologist and GMO Expert at Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary.She completed her PhD at University of Pannonia in Animal and Agricultural Environmental Sciences. She holds the following responsibilities at Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary: Scientific advisor of biosafety issues (in particular the GMOs, new plant breeding techniques, genom sequencing, synthetic biology) • Task coordinator and contact person of International Conventions related to biosafety (Convention on Biological Diversity, Cartagena Protocol). • Participant of EU Standing and Regulatory Committees, as well as Preparatory Bodies (Working Parties) of the Council as National Expert. • Member of the Scientific Network on Risk Assessment of GMOs organized by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA)
