Biography

Dr. Jie Zhuang is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Communication and Information Engineering at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Imperial College London, UK, in 2011, where he was a recipient of UK/China Scholarship for Excellence Programme. He obtained his B.Eng. (’94-’98) in Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, after which he worked in China Telecom (Chengdu) for nearly two years. Since 2000, he has been with UESTC, firstly as an M.Sc. student (’00-’03) and then as an academic staff member immediately after his graduation. He is a member of IEEE.
