Ke Zhang, born in 1979, is currently an Associate Professor of School of Communication and Information Engineering (SCIE), University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China. He is currently Senior Member of China Computer Federation (CCF) and Member of IEEE and ACM. He received his BS and MS degrees from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2002 and 2006, respectively. And he received his PhD degree from School of Computer Science and Engineering of UESTC in 2010. His research interests include Sensor Networks, Internet of Things, Big data, Computer Networks and Data Fusion. His scientific research at UESTC started with the design of a firewall system based on Intel IXA network processor, since 2006 much of his focus has been on the Internet of Things and Big data, participated in several research projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities and Aviation Science Fund Projects, etc. He has published more than forty research papers in many journals and conferences, among which more than ten were indexed by SCI or EI. He is currently the reviewer of many prestigious international conferences and journals, and owns more than ten national invention patents and software copyrights.
