Ziad Zahreddine is a professor of Mathematics at the College of Science and Information systems. He received his BS degree in Mathematics from the Lebanese University, Faculty of Science, Hadath; MS degree in Analysis and Partial Differential Equations from Sussex University, UK, and PHD degree (followed by one year postdoctoral research) in Operator Theory and Differential Equations from London University, UK.
His research interests encompass a variety of mathematical topics. He has publications in stability analysis of control systems, dynamical systems, complex analysis, differential equations with engineering applications such as signal analysis and digital filters. His research in matrix analysis has direct applications in mathematical economics and market dynamics. He was an Invited Speaker in five international conferences in Mathematics and its applications around the world. He also organized and actively participated in many other conferences and workshops. He is a reviewer of Mathematical Reviews of the American Mathematical Society, and he has refereed and reviewed a large number of technical papers related to his research areas.
