Biography

Youngmi Jung has completed her PhD from University of Florida College of Medicine and Postdoctoral studies from Duke University College of Medicine (division of gastroenterology). She worked as an Assistant Professor at Duke University from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, she joined the faculty of the Department of Biological Sciences at Pusan National University where she has been working as an Associate Professor since 2014. Her research is focused on mechanisms underlying the progression of liver diseases and the liver regeneration by stem cells. She has published more than 40 papers in reputed journals.
