Biography

Prof. Yoshinori Marunaka is working as Professor and Chairperson, Departments of Molecular Cell Physiology and Bio-Ionomics in Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Professor and Chairman, Department of Bio-Ionomics, Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine. His research has included Proton Dynamics in Cancer. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as Research Award (1989), The National Kidney Foundation of U.S.A., The Premier's Research Excellence Award (1999), The Government of Ontario and many more. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Journal of Physiological Sciences, American Journal of Physiology Renal Physiology, Gastrointestinal Cancer Review Letters, Clinical and Translational Medicine, etc. and expert Reviewers for journals like Frontiers in Membrane Physiology and Biophysics, Frontiers in Renal and Epithelial Physiology, etc. He authored several research articles. He is a member of Review Board, Research Grants of Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Canada, Review Board, Research Grants of Wellcome Trust, England.
