Born in 1979 in EreÄŸli, Konya, Prof. Yıldırım graduated from Hacettepe University Medical School in2002 and then continued her specialty training in dermatology at the same university, finally qualifying in 2007. During this time she worked as a research assistant in the dermatology department of Hacettepe University Medical School. She worked as a specialist from 2007 to 2009 at Tunceli State Hospital, from 2009 to 2010 at Avukat Cengiz Gökçek State Hospital, from 2010 to 2011 at Ä°zmir Atatürk Research and Training Hospital, in 2011 at Avukat Cengiz Gökçek State Hospital, and from 2011 to 2012 at BaÅŸkent University Adana Medical and Research Center. Since July 2012, Prof. Yıldırım has been working as a dermatologist at the private Sani KonukoÄŸlu Hospital and in 2014 she was appointed assistant professor of dermatology and venereology at SANKO University. She is married and can speak English.
