Biography

He is currently an associate professor of ecotoxicology in the Department of Pure and Applied Biology, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Nigeria. He had first degree in P/A Biology, LAUTECH (1998), M. Sc. in Ecology and Environmental Biology, University of Ibadan (2002) and Ph. D. in Zoology, LAUTECH (2009).

Research Intrest

He has carried out research in the area of pesticide and plant extract toxicity using different bioassays including Allium cepa and mice/rat sperm cell morphological assays. He has explored biochemical, haematological and histopathological parameters to evaluate toxicity of some environmental wastes on different organisms. He worked in collaboration with some foreign experts on the impact of electronic waste recycling on environmental matrices as well as on sensitive human population. Currently, his research focused on nanotechnology research, exploring different applications and their environmental friendliness.
