MSc in Hydrobiology, Biological Faculty of Plovdiv University. Researcher at the Department of Hydrobiology, Institute of Zoology, BAS, (since 1985). Working on a Ph.D. thesis. Special expertise in the field of taxonomy, faunistics, distribution, ecology and bioindication of mayfly species (Ephemeroptera, Insecta), macrozoobenthos, saprobiology. Participation in the international projects: GEF - Biodiversity Project; Rozhen - Srednogorie - Bulgarian Swiss Biodiversity Conservation Programme. Published 11 scientific papers.
