Biography

Wei Long is a Deputy Director of IHEP, responsible for the Multi-disciplinary Research Division, Division of Nuclear Technology and Applications, Office of Technology Transfer, Office of Education and the Machine Shop. He obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, in 1994.He was awarded the first prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award twice and the third-grade prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award twice respectively.

Research Intrest

nuclear technology and applications, mainly focused on positron spectroscopy, radiological medical imaging and its applications
