Biography

Wang Guanyu: Doctor of Engineering (Zhejiang University, 1998) and Doctor of Medicine (University of Cologne, Germany, 2005). He was a postdoctoral and research assistant professor at the University of Texas Houston School of Medicine, Department of Bioengineering at Rice University, and Department of Physics at George Washington University. In July 2013 joined the Southern University of Science and Technology Department of Biology, any associate professor. 2013 was selected in Shenzhen, overseas high-level "Peacock Plan" Class B talent. Its academic characteristics are multidisciplinary and multi-level integration.

Research Intrest

Wang Guanyu committed to biomedical major issues of research, the establishment of biological experiments as the main means to scientific computing, mathematical analysis, physical thinking reasoning, supplemented by the academic system. He created the "different disease with the" ideological system and analysis methods, deepened the understanding of the nature of the disease and the aging process for the relationship between the disease and disease prevention and treatment provides a new research ideas. The latest research paradigm includes global non-linear analysis of complex diseases such as cancer, diabetes mellitus, obesity, analysis of mathematical logic of large-scale biological networks and cell signaling pathways, and full-atomic dynamics simulation of biological macromolecules.
