Jorge Walter is an independent researcher at the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET), with headquarters as a researcher affiliated with the School of Business Administration of the University of San Andrés. In the latter he was a member during two periods of the Superior Council on behalf of the teaching staff and, as a member of the Interdepartmental Interchange Commission, he was at the origin of the Double Diploma with ESCP Europe. Between 1996 and 2014 he was Associate Professor in charge of the subject Introduction to Administration and the Graduate Work Workshop of the Business Administration. He currently directs the Center for Research for a Culture of Security (CICS). In the Business Education Center he created and directs the Blended Learning Program in Human and Organizational Factors of Risk Management. He serves as associate director and member of the Orientation Council of the Latin America-Europe Research Center and represents the School in that network. He chaired the Latin American Association of Labor Studies (ALAST) between 2013 and 2016 and has specialized in the management of occupational and technological risks and the transfer of technologies. He has published in the main international journals of his specialty, such as Safety Science, The Journal of Technology Transfer, Sociologie du Travail and Laboreal. He serves as associate director and member of the Orientation Council of the Latin America-Europe Research Center and represents the School in that network. He chaired the Latin American Association of Labor Studies (ALAST) between 2013 and 2016 and has specialized in the management of occupational and technological risks and the transfer of technologies.
