Dr Nyamori is a Y-rated National Research Foundation researcher and is currently a Senior Lecturer and Academic Leader in the School of Chemistry and Physics. He is renowned for his synthetic ferrocene chemistry, green chemistry and nanomaterial science. He is a member of the South Africa Chemical Institute, Catalysis Society of South Africa, South African Nanotechnology Initiative (SANi) and he is currently collaborating on nanotechnology projects as part of the India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) forum on solar energy.
