Dr. Vidya Patni Ramani has received her PhD. Currently, she is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Botany, University of Rajasthan . Her research has included Advanced biochemical studies on galls of Prosopis cineraria (Linn.) Druce 1990-1992, Studies on wilt and blight disease of Cumin with special reference to Disease management 2001-2005 and Biotechnology for enhancement of active compounds and conservation of threatened medicinal herbs of Rajasthan used in Bone healing Cissus quadrangularis and Pluchea lanceolata 2009-2011. she have authored a chapters in book titled Insect induced galls of certain economically important plants of arid and semi-arid regions.
