Biography

He holds a degree in History from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (1988), a master's degree in History from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1994) and a Ph.D. in History from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2008). She is a professor at the University of Vale do Paraíba (UNIVAP), working in the Graduate (History and Geography Course) and Post-Graduation, as permanent professor of the Master's and Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning, Research, Society, Space and Culture. She is the coordinator of the Pro-Memory Research Center of São José dos Campos, the Research and Documentation Laboratory of the Research and Development Institute / UNIVAP, the Laboratory of City and Memory, and is a collaborator of Cehvap (Center for Institutional Memory of Univap). Has experience in the area of ​​research and teaching History, with emphasis on History of Brazil Colony, History of Brazil Empire, Fundamentals of History, Brazilian Culture, history and city; History, Memory and Historical Heritage; Organization, digitization and provision of historical documents. Author of City and Identity: São José dos Campos and Ares and is a member of the Municipal Tourism Council of São José dos Campos.
