Dr. Ghafarinia received his diploma in Math and Physics from a NODET school (SAMPAD). He received his B.Sc. of honor in Electrical Engineering from Razi University in 2003. He then pursued his graduate studies at Khaje Nasir Toosi University of Technology and received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in 2005 and 2010 respectively, both in Electronics Engineering. During his PhD, he worked on Electronic Nosetechnology under the supervision of Professor Faramarz Hossein-Babaei at Electronic Materials Laboratory (EML). In 2010 he was awarded as the prominent researcher of the university due to his research activities. In February 2011 he joined MABNA where he worked on a system for remote monitoring and control over Ethernet. In August 2011 Dr. Ghafarinia became an assistant professor at the department of electrical and computer engineering at Isfahan University of Technology. Dr Ghafarinia co-founded the Avionics Research Center (ARC) in 2013 and is currently the head of ARC.
