Assoc. Prof. Selman Ünverdi, who graduated from Salim Yılmaz High School in Mersin in 1995, got into Dicle University Medicine School the same year and completed the faculty in 2001. After that, he started his Internal Diseases Specialist training at Gazi University Medicine School. Assoc. Prof. Selman Ünverdi, who became Internal Disease specialist in 2006, started compulsory service in Nephrology Clinic of Ankara University Training and Research Hospital. After passing the subspecialty exam in 2008, he continued his subspecialty education in Nephrology. He joined in the Education Program organized by Nephrology Department of Harvard University in 2009. After completing the Nephrology Specialty in 2011, he worked as a Nephrologist at Gaziantep Dr. Ersin Arslan Hospital for two years. In 2013, he was assigned as the Nephrology chief intern, the Internal Diseases Lecturer, and Internal Diseases Administrator in Ankara University Training and Research Hospital. He got the title of Associate Professor of Nephrology in 2014. He worked in Transplant Nephrology Department of UT Southwestern University (Dallas/ Texas/ USA) in 2015 for three months. Assoc. Prof. Selman Ünverdi, who has been working as a Nephrologist at Private Sani KonukoÄŸlu Hospital since 2016 and as the head of the department of the Nephrology at the same hospital since June of 2016, has more than 40 articles written and published in English in International SCI and SCI Expanded journals, and they have been internationally cited more than 200. Assoc. Prof. Selman Ünverdi is a member of European renal association - European dialysis and transplant association and Turkish Nephrology Association. He has been continuing his studies actively on Kidney Transplant, Chronic Renal Insufficiency, Hemodialysis, peritoneum Dialysis, Glomerulonephritis, and hypertension.
