Ms Tshephiso Papo completed her undergraduate and honours degrees at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2010. She graduated with a BSc in Biochemistry and Chemistry and continued to do honours in Chemistry. She went on to study an MSc degree in physical chemistry under the supervision of Professor Jaganyi which she completed in 2014. She has published two papers in peer reviewed journals from her MSc work and is currently enrolled for a PhD in physical chemistry. Her research interests include the kinetic and mechanistic substitution reactions of Pt (II) complexes with potential application as anti-cancer drugs.
