Biography

Travis Titus enters his third year on the Jimmie staff. He finished the season as the team's interim head coach, named to that position October 21, 2015. He led the Jimmies to a 3-1 finish with a pair of victories over Mayville State and a win in the team's final home game over Waldorf. Titus serves as the team's recruiting coordinator and coaches quarterbacks and running backs. He recruits North Dakota and Nevada. Coach Titus is a 1998 graduate of Sherwood (N.D.) High School. He attended Minot State University, where he played football and baseball, graduating in 2003 with a BA in Social Studies and a minor in Coaching. From 2003-2007, Coach Titus was an assistant football and baseball coach at Kenyon College in Ohio. In 2008, Coach Titus started teaching and coaching football, basketball, and baseball at Cape Hatteras Secondary School in Buxton, NC, where he stayed until 2010. Coach Titus then became an assistant football coach at Presentation (S.D.) College from 2010-2012. He earned his Master of Science in Education-Educational Studies degree from Northern State University in May of 2013. In December of 2013, Coach Titus earned his Master of Science in Education-Leadership & Administration degree from Northern State University. Coach Titus is also the Jimmie football recruiting coordinator.
