Dr. Ting-Hui Hsieh, pronounced “Dr. Shay,” completed his medical education, internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at National Taiwan University Hospital. He moved to the United States in 2006 and continued his training. He was trained at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona for transplant hepatology and gastroenterology. Dr. Hsieh moved to Reno in December 2015 to practice gastroenterology and hepatology with his procedure-based skills, viral hepatitis research experience and interest in the diversity of patients such as those he has cared for in Taiwan, New York City and Scottsdale.
Additionally, he enjoys the practice of diagnosing and treating esophageal disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irrritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and colon cancer screening and prevention.
