Biography

  Timo Jämsä holds a Professorship in Medical Technology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oulu, since 2002. He received his MSc in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Technology, University of Oulu, and PhD from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oulu in 1981 and 1998, respectively. Prof. Jämsä’s is specialized in Biomedical Engineering (BME) and Medical Technology, as well as regional, national and international activities in the area. He has over 30 years of experience in research and education in the topic.

  Musculoskeletal Biomechanics and Imaging.
