Biography

Tiejun Tong is an Associate Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics at Hong Kong Baptist University. He received his BSc degree in 1998 and MSc degree in 2001 from University of Science and Technology of China, and his PhD degree in 2005 from University of California at Santa Barbara. Before joining Hong Kong Baptist University in 2010, Dr. Tong was a Postdoctoral Associate from 2005-2007 at Yale University and an Assistant Professor from 2007-2010 at University of Colorado at Boulder. Dr. Tong is an Elected Member of International Statistical Institute (ISI).
