Biography

Thomas M. Talavage Professor Founding Co-Director, Purdue MRI Facility, Co-Chair, Functional Neuroimaging Track, 26th Annual International Conference of the IEEE EMBS (2004), Board of Governors for IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (2009 – 2012), Chair, Communications Committee (ad-hoc), IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu Board of Governors (2013).

Research Intrest

My research background outside of neuroimaging is related to the auditory system. The primary aims of our work in this context are improved characterization of the auditory and speech processing, improvement of auditory rehabilitation and novel auditory neuroproshtesis development and refinement.
