Biography

Major areas of research include neonatal hyperbilirubinemia (examination of free bilirubin levels in infants, effects of bilirubin on neutrophil function, free bilirubin levels following indomethacin/ibuprofen administration), free fatty acids (level in perinatal hypoxia, levels in infants with patent ductus arteriosus), Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, and parental stress in the intensive care nursery.
