Dr. Dolan is a botanist with specific interests in the population biology of fungi. Current work is focused on the population genetics of water molds pathogenic on salamander and frog egg masses found in temporary woodland ponds. Teaching interests include the biology of fungi and algae. Dr. Dolan also regulalry teaches a course in general genetics and evolution in the Core Curriculum.
