Biography

Dr. Teg Alam is presently working as Assistant Professor, in the Management Department, College of Business Administration, Salman Bin Abdulaziz University; Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Before joining Salman Bin Abdulaziz University, he was working at (presently on long leave) Azad Institute of Engineering and Technology, Affiliated to U.P. Technical University Lucknow, India, as an Associate Professor. He completed his M. Phil. and Ph.D. in Operations Research from prestigious Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He was awarded University Fellowship during his Ph.D. program. Dr. Alam has more than eight years of teaching experience after Ph.D. at graduate and post graduate level in Business Administration, Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Computer Science. His areas of teaching interests are Operations Research/Management Science (Multi Disciplinary Subject), Quantitative Analysis, Business Statistics, Optimization Engineering, Numerical and Statistical Analysis and Business Research Methods. He has published many research papers at National and International level. He has also attended many seminars at national and International level. He is also supervising Ph.D. student in the area of Management. He has supervised two M. Phil. Students. He has worked as Paper setter of various Institutes/Universities. His research interests are Management Science and quantitative techniques in management. He has worked as reviewer of various journals. He has also administrative experience as Assistant Controller of Examination and head of the department, Department of Business Administration, Azad IET, Lucknow. He is member of Lucknow Management Association, Lucknow, India.
