Biography

Tanya Papura, M.S., R.D. L.D.N., part-time faculty, is the instructor for ND 301 parts B & C, Food Systems Management I (Production & Marketing); ND 379 , Food Systems Management II; ND 400 Professional Practice; and clinical instructor for ND 390, MNT I, and ND 391, Food Systems Management I. She is currently employed part-time as a clinical dietitian at WVHCs TCU. Her prior work experience includes full-time employment for several years as a food service director/clinical dietitian in Mercy Center,an area skilled nursing facility, and Mercy Special Care,long term hospital.

Research Intrest

Tanya functioned as the dietitian upon the opening of the Skilled Nursing Unit at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, ensuring that all state requirements were met for both the unit and the food service prior to department of health approval.
