Biography

Prof. Takayoshi SUZUKI has received his PhD in the University of Tokyo in 2015. Currently, he is working as Professor in Kyoto Prefectural University. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Research Director of CREST, Japan Science and Technology Agency. His research has included development of therapeutic agents, medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as 2011 The Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Young Scientists’ PrizeProfessional Activities, 2009 The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan Award for a Young Chemist, 2009 Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters Most Cited Paper 2006-2009 Award, 2008 Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters Most Cited Paper 2005-2008 Award. He is serving as an editorial member of Journal of Medicinal Chemistry (American Chemical Society). He has authored several research articles.
