Biography

Dr. Lerner earned her M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her surgical residency and a research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania as well. She completed her multiorgan transplantation fellowship at the University of California's Los Angeles. Dr. Lerner was formerly the Surgical Director of Liver Transplantation at the Penn State Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Dr. Lerner's interests are in kidney transplantation and the surgical education of medical students and residents.
