Biography

Susan is interested in the dynamic processes involved in learning and coming alongside people in the teaching and counselling contexts. Working therapeutically with children is a particular interest and she has completed training in the Gestalt approach to Play Therapy. She has taught and counselled in primary and high schools in South Africa and lectured Applied Psychology, part-time, at the University of Johannesburg. Apart from teaching, she has had a small counselling practice. Her Master’s degree focused on exploring children’s spiritual well-being in the primary school context. She is married to Glenn and they have a son, Chaning.
