Prof. Åžule Gök was born in Ä°zmir, 1963. She finished her primary and middle school in Ä°zmir. She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1988 and started his special education at Atatürk University Pharmacology Department in the same year. In 1992, she was appointed as a lecturer in Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine Pharmacology Department to gain expertise and perform compulsory service. In 1995, she was appointed to the Presidency of Department of Pharmacology of Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine and served for the establishment of this department for a long time. She received the title of associate professor in 1999 and professor in 2006. In 1998, she received TUBITAK Overseas Postgraduate Research Scholarship to work in UK (Nottingham University, Department of Neurosciences and Pharmacology) (6 months).
