Biography

Seoul National University, Korea (majoring in atmospheric science). Has been in the United States Princeton University and the California Institute of Technology NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in postdoctoral research work. During the postdoctoral period, the ecosystem system of the earth system model was developed, and a new method of quantifying the impact of human activities on environmental changes was established based on satellite remote sensing data and climate model. The research direction is the mechanism of climate change and the impact of human disturbance on the global environment. (Eg, ecosystem model, land surface model, climate model and earth system model) and observation data (such as site observation and satellite remote sensing observation) to study the role of ecosystem changes in the carbon cycle process, and The impact of human activities, including agricultural activities, urbanization and energy use, on energy and water cycling.

Research Intrest

1) Climate change, 2) carbon cycle, 3) land-air interaction
