Dr. Sujit Bordhan was graduated from Pandu College, Guwahati. He passed his Master Degree from the Department of Education, Gauhati University. He also passed M. Phil. in 2008. He was qualified in the State Level Eligibility Test for Lectureship in 2005. He was conferred the "Rajib Gandhi National Fellowship for Doctoral Studies" by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. Dr. Bordhan was awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) by Gauhati University for his research work titled "A study on the impact of Child Labour Act on the promotion of Universal Primary Education with special reference to Kamrup District". He had served at Pandu College as Lecturer of Education and joined Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences as Deputy Registrar on 27.08.2010. He has several international and national publications in his credit and has also authored textbook for AHSEC. He is also actively associated with various national and regional educational and social organizations.
His research interest is education. His research work titled "A study on the impact of Child Labour Act on the promotion of Universal Primary Education with special reference to Kamrup District"
