Biography

Sueli Fumie Yamada Ogatta holds a PhD in Pharmacy - with a degree in Clinical Analysis from the State University of Maringá, a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences (Microbiology) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. Associate Professor at the State University of Londrina, Master's and PhD advisor of the Graduate Program in Microbiology. He has experience in the area of ​​Microbiology and Molecular Biology with emphasis on the analysis of gene expression of microorganisms, studies of virulence factors and antimicrobial activity of natural substances using the following biological models: protozoa (Trypanosoma cruzi and Phytomonas serpens), yeasts (Candida spp. and Cryptococcus spp.) and bacteria (Enterococcus faecium, Streptococcus agalactiae and Staphylococcus spp.).
