The aim of my current research is to conduct clinical trials aimed at improving periodontal and systemic health. I am particularly interested in the relationships between periodontal disease, diabetes, and atherosclerosis. Long-term goals are to explore the relationship between periodontal disease and systemic health, identify new periodontal treatments methods, and contribute to the education of future dentists and periodontists.
