Professor Steven Deller persued his Ph.D., Agricultural Economics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 1988 ,He further persued M.S., Economics, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 1985. and B.A., Economics, Western Illinois University, Macomb, 1982.His research interest includes modeling community and small regional economies in order to better understand the changing dynamics of the economy, assess the impact of those changes, and identify local economic strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats he is also interested in the implications of the changing public finance system in Wisconsin, his Extension outreach program is designed to help people make more informed decisions by providing basic training in the economic way of thinking about issues, tools for analysis at the local level, and Wisconsin and community specific information.
