Steve began his teaching duties at Bradley University in 1995 following 17 years of full time clinical work. He is beginning his third year as Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy and Health Science. He continues to be involved in teaching in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Steve’s present research interests include outcome assessment following total knee arthroplasty. He has presented over 200 continuing education seminars at the local, state, national, and international levels. He is a member of the editorial boards of the American Journal of Sports Medicine and the North American Journal of Sports Physical Therapy. Steve serves on numerous committees at the college and university levels. He is actively involved in the Education Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. Steve also serves as the consulting physical therapist for the Bradley Athletic Department and treats patients for OSF Saint Francis Medical Center at the Illinois Neurological Institute.. Steve was one of the original 16 Sports Clinical Specialists accredited by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 1987 and continues to hold that certification.
