Biography

Stephen H. Loring, M.D., is an Professor of Anesthesia at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston where he is Scientific Director of Respiratory Therapy. He works closely with members of Pulmonary Medicine at BIDMC and Brigham and Women's Hospital in fulltime research on respiratory mechanics and physiology in healthy subjects and patients with respiratory disease. He is active in teaching and organizing in HST-100, the respiratory pathophysiology course in the Health Sciences and Technology program of MIT and Harvard Medical School.
