Biography

He holds a degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1986), a Masters in Chemistry from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1991) and a PhD in Chemistry from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1996). He is currently associate professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He works in the Pharmacy area, with emphasis on collective health and environment. It works mainly in the following subjects: studies of the use of medicines and environment and health. He coordinates the water analysis laboratory of the institution and develops researches in the area of ​​biodegradation / bioremediation of pollutants from the aquatic environment using cyanobacteria.
