The Spiros Sakellaropoulos has conducted basic studies in the Sociology Department of the Panteion University (1989) and postgraduate studies at the University of Paris VIII (DEA in Political Sociology, 1992, PhD in Political Sociology 1995). He is Associate Professor at the Department of Social Policy of the Panteion University in the subject State and Political Theory . His research interests are focused on the theory of the State, on the study of Modern Greek and Cypriot society and on the theory of the development of the capitalist mode of production. On his research interests he has written books and articles in Greek, English and French.
