Biography

Dr. Soumana Datta has received her PhD. Currently. she is working as Associate Professor in University of Rajasthan. Her research has included A study of pathogenesis of certain nematodes disease of guar (Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba) L. (Taub) and Vigna radiata Linn. (R. Wlicz )and their control. Based on this research she has received fund from the UGC funding Agency and completed the project satisfactorily in two years. She have authored a chapters in a book titled Future scope of Nano biotechnology in medical community (112-120) Advances in biotechnology, Madhu Publications. she is serving as an editorial member of International Journal of Innovative knowledge concepts. She is a member of Fellow, Indian Botanical society (IBS); Fellow, Society for Applied Biotechnologists (SAB); Life member, Indian science congress association (ISCA); Life member, Indian women scientist association (IWSA); Life member, Nematological society of India; Life Member, Blue Planet society; Member, Indian association for angiosperm taxonomy (IAAT); Invited member, Rajasthan state biodiversity board (RSBB); Executive committee member, CULP, Jaipur; Executive committee member, BGVS, India.
