Dr. Shiv Nandan Singh Parmar was born in 1955 in Morena. He received B.V.Sc. & A.H. in 1976, obtained M.V.Sc in 1978 and earned Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur in 1989 in the discipline of Animal Breeding & Genetics. He started his academic career in the Department of Animal Breeding & Genetics and worked as Professor and Head of the Department. He also worked as Director Research Services; Dean, College of Vety. Sc. & A.H., Jabalpur & Mhow; and Vice Chancellor (Acting) of Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur. He is presently holding the Chair of Dean Faculty, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur since 2013.Dr. Parmar has made a significant contribution in the field of Veterinary Research and has handled 7 research projects funded by various National and State agencies including ICAR, DBT, RKVY and MP Biotechnology Council
