Biography

The preparative chromatographic methods developed for purification of complex enzyme preparations produced by Trichoderma sp., Penicillium sp., Chrysosporium sp., Aspergillus sp. strains and for isolation of individual enzymes. Analytical methods have been developed for separation and determination of sugars in complex matrices. Multienzyme complexes with high hydrolytic ability with respect to lingocellulosic raw materials created, to perform the deep degradation of plant-based polymers to C6 and C5 sugars.

Research Intrest

Enzymology, biochemistry and biotechnology of natural polysaccharides degrading enzymes: Isolation, purification, and study of the properties of individual enzymes; • Development of methods for the determination of enzyme activity; • Study of the mechanisms of biodegradation of soluble and insoluble polysaccharides by different carbohydrases; • Study of the processes of transglycosylation during the enzymatic hydrolysis of poly- and oligosaccharides; • Identify the impact of major physical, chemical and structural parameters of insoluble polysaccharides on their biodegradability. Screening, selection, mutagenesis, and cultivation of the active strains for efficient production of carbohydrases and related enzymes: • obtaining strains - superproducers of target enzymes; • optimization of the fermentation process, scaling-up.
