Biography

Dr. Sidhyartha Mukherjee is the Head of Department of Preventive & Social Medicine at Parul Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. He has worked as a Consultant in Community Medicine, Public & Industrial Health with strong experience in managing Primary & Secondary Health Care, including community empowerment. Managed & implemented various USAID, European Commission & Govt. of Netherlands funded projects on RCH, HIV/AIDS, Respiratory Diseases & Mental Health. As Occupational Physician, implemented the project conducted by University of Cincinnati, on Monitoring Soil Samples to ascertain Health Hazard to Farmers due to usage of Agricultural Pesticides in Anand District, Gujarat. An experienced UG & PG Medical Teacher and Examiner. Developed innovative rural & research oriented syllabi in PSMC, Karamsad. Guided UG & PG medical students on community & field based research work. Mentored three interns from Aga Khan Foundation, Canada between 2001 & 2004. Expertise in management of a 460 bedded multi-specialty hospital in Ahmedabad & 750 bedded hospital in Greater Noida.
